  2. Thank You Ms. S!! We had to do 225 meters=4.5 laps in a 25 meter pool.

    1. 4.5 laps, that't interesting. So they stop timing you when you get halfway through the pool on the last lap? Just interested to know how these things go. And then your time starts again once you are out of the water or on the bike?

    2. We have a chip on our ankle that began as we crossed a mat heading into the pool and it stopped when we got out and this repeated for the other two legs of the race in addition to the transition parts of the race as well. In the end, we were able to see our times for the swim, transition #1, bike, transition #2 and run (which added up to our overall Tri time). In a 25 meter pool, you swim down and back and that's considered one lap, with a 225 meter race, we existed the pool opposite the end we got in. We had to swim and cross under the ropes to come down the next lane to keep the race moving etc. It was indeed an experience of a life time as you can see on the tape (SMH).
